At the Powered By Youth event last September, there was a strong feeling from young people that they didn’t know where to look to find out what opportunities and events were available to them in Torbay.
Led by one of the brilliant young people at this event, with support from Sound Communities & Doorstep Arts, we have been doing some research into creating an App for young people to find out about What’s on in Torbay. As creating an app is a very expensive game. We are piloting the idea through Sound Communities’ youth-led radio app – Ocean Youth Radio – Links to download on Apple App Store and on Google Play Store.
We have created a ‘What’s On’ tab on the front page of the App that directs young people to our Imagine This What’s On page.
In order for this to be as successful a pilot as possible, we need everyones help.
If you’re a young person, you can help by downloading the app and giving us your feedback, as well as telling your friends about it too.
If you work with young people, share this with them.
If you’re a partner, we would really appreciate it if you could share with us any events/opportunities/activities you have going on at your organisation to Rebekah (ImagineThisInfo@torbaycdt.org.uk) who will update the page.

- Date and time
- Location
- Brief context/description
- Link
