In 2018 we went out to over 500 children and young people to ask what would make Torbay a better place to grow up. 5 key challenge areas were identified as a result, which in turn led to 5 impact groups.

- Reducing Stress and Anxiety
- Safer Streets
Today we work through 4 impact groups after having recently combined the ‘More Spaces to Hang Out’ and ‘Safer Streets’.
These groups are a place for professionals and people working in the community with children and young people to come together to discuss emerging issues, concerns and observations related to the 5 areas.
These meetings take place online every few months, and have an open-door policy.
