Turning 16 or 18 can feel like a big step – school changes, support changes, and it’s not always clear what your options are. You’re not alone in feeling that way.
That’s exactly why we’ve created the Fair Futures Festival.
What’s it all about?
This is a free, drop-in event for young people in Torbay who want to explore their future and figure out their next steps. Whether you already have a plan or no idea where to start, this event is for you. You’ll find everything in one place – real people, real opportunities, and real support.
What can you do there?
- Chat to people about jobs, courses, apprenticeships, and training
- Find out about support for mental health, housing, and wellbeing
- Discover new opportunities you might not have thought about
- Ask questions in a relaxed, friendly space (no pressure!)
- Meet others who are figuring things out just like you

This event is all about helping you feel more prepared, more confident, and more in control of what comes next.
- Between 12 and 1pm – this session is going to be a quiet session. So, if you prefer quieter environments, this is a good slot for you.
- 1pm – until you’re ready to leave
